:Q. So why do some people call you 'Ned' if you are a woman?
A. As a child, my father would read parts of The Belgariad to me before bed every night. My favorite character in the books is Ce'Nedra, Imperial Princess of Toldnedra. Throughout my life, he'd make constant jokes comparing me to her, even going so far as to reference it in his speech on my wedding day. While I was growing up though, I often used the nickname Ce'Nedra in lieu of my real name. Over time, my friend shortened the name to Nedra and finally down to what it is now; Ned. Most of my older friends know me by that name, though over the last few years I have been dubbed Rory. Either is fine with me
I'll answer to just about anything so long as it isn't mean!Q. What inspires you?
A. Many things, from music to literature, and other visual art forms. Q. Do you do trades/requests/DeviantARTpoint commissions?
A. I only trade with friends/artists I trust to have a solid reputation for finishing trades. I do not have time to take requests, though in my Livestreams I like to give art away sometimes. I also do not normally offer point commissions, with only rare exceptions that I will announce. Q.Since I am commissioning you, how long will it take to complete and how do I pay you?
A. Since commissions are so different, the length of time it takes to complete depends on the complexity and the order in which you requested. I accept payment through paypal only.Q. Can I sell prints of something you drew for me?
A. I'm afraid the answer to that is no. While you might hold copyright over an original character, the work is still mine and I hold rights over it. It is not possible to purchase the right to distribute commercially at this time. You can read more about things like this in my Terms of Service: (link)Q. Can I remove your watermark or signature from your artwork?
A. This is also a big no. I sign all of my works, and the signature may never be removed, even from commissions. Watermarks cannot be removed either. However, if you have commissioned me, you will receive a copy of the work without the watermark. The reason I mark my work is to protect it from theft. Not only does the watermark protect my art, but it protects your characters/IP as well. You can read more about things like this in my Terms of ServiceQ. What tablet do you use/recommend?
A. I started on a Wacom Bamboo in 2007, and I recently gave it to a friend for him to learn digital art. I now use my Intuos 5, and I love it! But for beginners, a small Bamboo is a relatively inexpensive and great tablet to learn on!Q.Do you have Skype/IM?
A.I do, but I do not give out that information freely as it is for personal use and not for conducting business.Q. Do you RP?
A. Yes, but mostly with a small group of folks whom I trust implicitly. Sometimes I like to try something new or try RPing with someone new, though I've not had much time for it recentlyQ. Where did all your pony art go!?
A. I removed most of the older pieces that I don't particularly care for, but I'm leaving a lot of it in tact.
